Compass Maternal provides maternity education, birth preparation, postpartum planning, and maternity care navigation services. Our Services may include individual consultations, educational resources, assistance understanding maternity care options, provider resource identification, support in organizing healthcare information, and other informational content made available through this Website.

Although Compass Maternal's founder is licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), the Services are provided solely as non-clinical and consulting services. Compass Maternal may provide educational and plain-language explanations about tests, imaging, procedures, and interventions that may be or have been offered by a client’s treating healthcare provider, but does not diagnose medical conditions, provide clinical assessments, recommend or direct medical treatment, prescribe medications, independently interpret diagnostic results, make clinical recommendations, or manage obstetric, gynecologic, or other healthcare. Use of the Services does not create a provider-patient, nurse-patient, or midwife-patient relationship.

Clients engaging in services beyond general website use are subject to a separate Client Services Agreement, which governs the terms of that relationship.

3. DISCLAIMER

The information, content, and Services available through this Website are provided solely for educational, informational, and consulting purposes. They are intended to help clients better understand pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, available maternity care options, and the healthcare system, and to support productive conversations with their healthcare providers.
